Huh, strange. Any note edit should put it in that list. Just having the note opened will also show it. 

The only thing I can think of is that you built without dbus support. Which might mean you had two tomboy instances running, if for example you opened the search notes dialog from the applications menu. Edits to the note in the second "search notes" process would not be seen by the first "tray icon" process, until it was restarted. That's kind of a long shot though.

Hi Alex,
I assume the recently used list is the one that pops up when you click on the Tomboy Notes icon in the system tray.
I went to the search all notes window and opened a note that did not show in the system tray list.  I modified it to make sure that it was 'tocuched' and then checked the system tray list.  It did now show up.  Did I possibly miss an option when compiling the source?
