[tomboy-list] Compiling a plugin

Hi.

I started to write the Tomboy plugin HowTo [1] and would like to add
some information regarding compiling and testing a plugin. Until now I
always added the necessary lines to the Makefile but I think this is a
bit unhandy. So, is there a way to compile a simple plugin without
modifying the Makefile?
