Yes, same user on both computers. Same UID too, for what that's worth:

andrew:~ grep andrew /etc/passwd
andrew:x:1000:1000:Andrew Conkling,,,:/home/andrew:/bin/zsh
andrew:~ ssh andrewski.homeftp.org grep andrew /etc/passwd
andrew:x:1000:1000:Andrew Conkling,,,:/home/andrew:/bin/zsh
