This was rejected for SoC last year, even though we had some good
proposals, and would likely be rejected again.

I'm registered as a mentor and would be interested in seeing a
proposal for this.  Feel free to run your ideas here first if you
like, or join #tomboy on GIMPNet.  I've seen your Anjuta proposal so I
know I don't need to give you any advice on having clear and detailed
deliverables.

Quick comment: The beauty of Evince integration is that it could be in
the app, associated with a particular block of text in the PDF, etc.
Presumably attaching a note to "any file" would only be visible in
Nautilus or something?  What's your vision for sticking Tomboy notes
all over GNOME?  :-)
