[tomboy-list] Can I write-protect individual notes?

I've reply it, but it seems everyone is busy.
The point is, I've managed to create preliminary code (as addin) and it work
[?].
But, It's not permanent[?] To be able to make it permanent, I have to hack
core code.
Is there a way to do it without hacking the core files? Because I'm not
comfortable with it.
