Excellent point. Please file a bug and we'll see what we can do to
fix it. Looking at the code I understand why it's happening, but
probably we can be smarter and prevent it unless necessary.

Yeah, that is a huge pain, if it's not fixed soon I'll need to start
warning users away from U1 until it's fixed.
