It is, but the files it produces are quite readable...and I *think*

Ah, well I'm not aware of any great cross-platform note-taking apps,
but maybe others have suggestions. Of course we're trying to improve
Tomboy on the Mac, but given that pretty much all Tomboy contributors
run Linux or Windows, it's slow going. Also, I'm currently stuck on
10.4 on my Mac (hoping to upgrade to 10.6 soon), so frequently my
experience with Tomboy on OS X differs from what users on 10.5 or 10.6
report.
