[tomboy-list] When does a note flush to disk?

I've frequently got different Tomboy notes open on 5 or 6 console 
screens and as I flip between them, I'll jot down a note here or there. 
  I'm interested/concerned about how often the buffers that I'm typing 
into get flushed out to the corresponding disk files that actually hold 
the note information?

I've tested to the point that I know if I either terminate the Tomboy 
application or close a note window it goes to disk then.  But if I just 
type something in a note, it looks like it doesn't go to disk 
immediately.  Is there a way to know/set that timeout factor?
