[tomboy-list] Synchronization problems

I am trying to change the synchronization settings in 'preferences' but 
I can't because the service menu is disabled (shadowed). I'm working 
with several computers and this happens in all of them (even in one with 
Windows). Is there something very obvious that I'm missing? I had 
managed to change the settings before.
