Excerpts from Richard Thomas's message of Wed Apr 14 11:55:13 +0530 2010:
> And on that note.. I want each notebook to be stored in its own folder
> so I can share the specific folder out instead of the whole thing.

Isn't this easier to do via a helper program? I can parse all the notes in
~/.local/share/tomboy and use the "tags" XML tag to decide a mirror path.

Similarly it can sync backwards by scanning the mirror path and copying all
the new notes into tomboy's local directory. Thus you and your friends can
download this simple mirroring app and choose to share or download specific
notebooks.

Can this be integrated into iFolder for a more elegant solution - since it
can re-use tomboy's XML serialization/deserialization classes.

Also, I'm not too sure whether the notes are stored solely inside the
{{guid}}.note files or there's a global metadata store which syncs
everything, in which case even the metadata file might need to be updated.

Just thinking out aloud :)

Thanks,
Anirudh
