No real news. I had a vague goal of implementing it this cycle, but
didn't get to it before feature freeze. I think we should make it a
priority next cycle to coincide with development of Tomboy Online.
I believe that in the case of synchronization to Tomboy Online or
Ubuntu One, all note encryption should happen on the client side (not
the server side), so we need the feature in Tomboy, and we need to
implement it in such a way that it doesn't "break" U1 or Snowy.
Initially, I want to offer the ability to encrypt specific notebooks,
because (again, initially) encryption would mean that your notes were
not viewable online.
Anyway, since I seem to be overly busy with the new baby, if anyone is
particularly interested in working on this, let me know and we can
work together to design it and I can help with some patch review and
testing.
Otherwise, I'll get to it when I get to it, hopefully next cycle.
