Yes, you can quit both instances of Tomboy, and copy all the .note
files from one to the other, and vice versa.

Find the .note files according to http://live.gnome.org/Tomboy/Directories

You can use note synchronization with Ubuntu One or sign up for the
Tomboy Online alpha to keep all the notes synchronized between
multiple Tomboy installs.
