[tomboy-list] where are notes stored in Vista?

I'm running Vista 32 and Tomboy 1.0.0

looking @: http://live.gnome.org/Tomboy/Directories
<http://live.gnome.org/Tomboy/Directories>I see that my tomboy files should
be in %APPDATA%\Tomboy

but in my APPDATA dir I find three directories, two of which contain a
Tomboy directory.

..\Local\Tomboy
..\Roaming\tomboy

AppData\Roaming has lots more data so I suspect that this is the where my
notes are being saved (I should have said that I don't have a TOMBOY_PATH
env variable set.

Is this normal?
in AppData\Local\Tomboy I find a cache directory and a tomboy.log file
in cache there appear to be two notes from October in the sync_temp
directory.
and the file tomboy.log contains exactly one line:

> 1/11/2010 3:34:32 PM [INFO]: Initializing Mono.Addins

I think I am syncing with DropBox via Local Directory Sync Service Add-in
0.1 but I just got a note from DropBox saying that they miss me--evidently
my account hasn't been used lately.

I have set Local Directory Sync to sync to a directory I have created in
Documents:
Documents\My Dropbox\Tomboy2009

but that directory was last modified in October!

Sure feels like something is not working here;
oh how I hate that feeling--a sour taste in my mouth.

all thoughts, comments, and advice are welcome.
