This is probably from using a pre-1.0 version of Tomboy on Windows.
We used to call the directory "tomboy", but now it's "Tomboy", and of
course since Windows is not case-sensitive it just picks up the old
directory and uses that.

Right, what I meant was that a your last sync prior to today (so,
probably a long time ago) was most likely interrupted.  Then, when
trying to sync today, you received an error because to Tomboy it
looked like the old sync was still in progress.  After waiting the
appropriate amount of time, you did your second sync today, and Tomboy
figured everything was okay and went ahead with a successful sync.
