I have had data loss with that method. It happens if I have two
machines powered up at once with tomboy open. E.g. I leave my Mac on
at home with Tomboy open. I go to work and open up my windows machine.
Tomboy at work then fights with Tomboy at home (via dropbox) about
which note is right. I've had one system trample on data in the other
if Dropbox wasn't connected, then connected and synced.
