thanks so much for your replies and I will patiently wait for "Auto-linking will probably be optional in a future release".
Sorry if someone didn't like the way I put my remarks, just wanted to make it hilarious talking about punishing humble users. Didnt mean to insult at all. Also sorry to see how some people lack any sense of humour.
I dont think dvelopers are aliens living in another world, or if some of them think they are, please wake up and don't forget you need users and advice for the soft you develop, as users need developers.
Thanks for the suggestions about Tomboy 1.2, I'm already using it. But I maintain my point of view, I prefer to have more control on what I'm using and it's always better to have a choice instead of being forced to use a feature.
