[tomboy-list] how do I fix a malformed note?

Is it possible to shutdown Tomboy before hitting the button? Even if you
can get a terminal and "kill <tomboy process>" Tomboy will gracefully
save notes and exit.

Don't think so. But I'll create some notes like that and see if
something weird happens. Looking at the code to see if anything weird is
going on...
