[tomboy-list] accented characters

Hi:

Being a fan of Tomboy I regret it doesn't support accented characters in my native language such as ç or ã. I try to do the writing in another app and then paste it to Tomboy, but links don't work...and I am using abbreviations to avoid the accented characters.
I had the same problem with another note-taker (Automaton) and they solved it...But although not as flashy, I prefer to use Tomboy...
Can I have any hope?
