I thought that maybe we would get more coverage by moving this into e-mail
from IRC.
Aaron mentioned in IRC today about getting back into GNOME and also GNOME
integration.
I think both are very good, but I have no idea what the hurdles would be. I
know in the past we had talked about Jump Lists and proper use of GNOME's
notification area, especially with GNOME-SHELL. Does anyone know what
bindings exist and how easy it would be to do with Tomboy?
I expect that Tomboy-library will be available and functional by end of
GNOME Love Fest (end of June). I don't know if it will fully support
add-ins and such, but for sure read, save, sync of notes.
Also Ubuntu dropping syncing notes or at least on-line editing of Notes.
Does anyone know if support for syncing notes will stop too? If so does
that mean we need to push Snowy forward?
This week I would like to go through some of the open bugs and put some
milestones on them. Feel free to jump in, voice any concerns or guidance :)
Greg,
I wonder if Tomboy encryption should be supported only with Tomboy-library?
Do you think that would make development for you easier? Do you have any
desire for this or would you rather drop it off your plate?
